Join us virtually to learn about the Department of Biomolecular Engineering at UC Santa Cruz and the experiences of its graduate students.
Friday, 23 September 2022 | 3:00pm – 4:00pm PT| Zoom link: https://tinyurl.com/225t25hk
The Ph.D. track in Biomolecular Engineering and Bioinformatics is designed to prepare students for productive careers in research and teaching. This training program emphasizes applying diverse approaches, including biochemistry, genetics, genomics, and imaging, to address major problems at the forefront of biomedical and bio-industrial research.
Dr. Angela Brooks, Dr. Russell Corbett-Detig, and current Ph.D. students will discuss the research and opportunities available in the Department of Biomolecular Engineering. The 30 minute presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. In the second half of the presentation, staff and faculty will leave Zoom so that department trainees may freely share their experiences.
All are welcome to join. For questions, please contact Olayemi Akintunde (oakintun@ucsc.edu).
