Bioinformatics and Coding Short Course
This free course is an initiative of the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and was created in order to reduce barriers to learning foundational skills in computational biology. Our goal is to make bioinformatics more accessible to everyone. This course over the years has been funded by various sources: Burroughs Wellcome Fund, NIH (R25MD010391) and UCSC Genomic’s Institute.
Below you’ll find a ten-part video series, slides, code, and all the other material we are using to explore the world of bioinformatics. You can also view last year’s course here.
